Rio Tinto Iron Ore: Tom Price Mine Operations-Structural Integrity Maintenance Contract, Tom Price WA
The Tom Price Mine operation involves open pit mining, crushing and dry processing of high-grade iron ore produce lump and fines ore. The site has a concentrator (beneficiation wet processing plant) that removes impurities and delivers a higher-grade material. Monadelphous has a team of over 40 people working on this project. The maintenance works are concentrated at the process buildings. The two-year contract commenced in January 2006 and has an option to be extended for one year. A high standard of safety performance and leadership resulted in no lost time injuries. |
