Mineral ProcessingOur mineral processing segment represents the work we do in alumina, aluminium, copper, uranium, nickel, pig iron, zinc, lead and chemical processing. Monadelphous has a well-recognised capability to fabricate, assemble, integrate, erect and construct all components of processing projects. Our work to date has included chemical and mineral processing plants of all types including acid plants, mineral separation and concentration, purification plants, and chemical manufacturing plants. 2006 saw the successful completion of a sulphuric acid plant for Aker Kvaerner at BHP Billiton’s Ravensthorpe Nickel Project. The successful execution of this project led to a significant package of structural, mechanical and piping work at Ravensthorpe directly with BHP Billiton. Monadelphous has recently expanded to a new office in Adelaide, South Australia to maximise opportunities in mineral processing. This builds on a 20-year history of maintenance service provision to the Olympic Dam Operations in Roxby Downs. |
