ConocoPhillips: Darwin LNG Facility Maintenance Services Contract, Darwin NT
The Darwin LNG plant uses the ConocoPhillips Optimised CascadeSM Process as the basis for its LNG liquefaction technology. Construction of the Darwin Liquefied Natural Gas plant commenced in June 2003 and LNG sales commenced in the first quarter of 2006. Monadelphous hold the maintenance support services contract for the Darwin LNG Facility, which is operated by ConocoPhillips. The multidisciplinary maintenance contract involves the management of all aspects of structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and civil works including the planning, management and execution of plant shutdowns. This contract started in April 2006 and expires in July 2007 with the provision for extension. Monadelphous is very pleased to have the contract with ConocoPhilips.
