Babcock & Brown Infrastructure: Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Expansion, Mackay, QLD

Monadelphous has recently been awarded a Phase 2/3 package as part of the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal expansion. The upgrade to the export terminal will increase the handling capacity of the terminal.

The structural, mechanical and electrical package will involve the supply and construction of two conveyor systems as part of the terminal stockyard. The project team will mobilise in January 2008 with a team of 20 personnel. This is expected to increase to 70 personnel at the height of construction.

The project is due for completion in November 2008.
