Aker Kvaerner Clough Murray and Roberts (AKCMR): Boddington Gold Mine Expansion Project, Boddington, WA

Monadelphous has been awarded the structural, mechanical and piping erection contract for the dry processing area as part of the Boddington Gold Mine Expansion Project. The mine, located 120 kilometres south of Perth, will recommence mining with production of up to 850,000 oz/annum of gold over a 15 year mine life.

The Monadelphous contract with Aker Kvaerner Clough Murray and Roberts (AKCMR) is for the construction of the primary and fine crushing areas, coarse screening area and approximately 4km of associated conveyor systems. In November 2007 Monadelphous will mobilise its 350 tonne crane and superlift for the installation of the High Pressure Grinding Rolls for the fine crushing area. Monadelphous' ability to internally source key personnel, plant and equipment was critical in securing such a significant part of the Boddington project.

The workforce will commence on site in October 2007 and the project is due for completion in the third quarter 2008.
